Colours uplift sick children

Dezign Fanatics is proud to have provided branding and communication tools for one of the UK’s newest and most exciting charities - Colours of Islam. The package consisted of Identity, literature, promotional banner, launch event tools, powerpoint presentation and website.

Colours of Islam’s mission is to make Eid special for all sick children. It does this by raising funds to buy interactive toys for children at Yorkhill Hospital and a day out for families at Robin House hospice.

The charity does this for a number of reasons. The main one being to bring a smile to sick children. Another is to present Islam as a giving and compassion religion and give Muslim an opportunity to contribute to good causes in the UK.

The Fanatics have worked tirelessly with the charity during 2009. This included the planning of its official launch at Pollokshields Borough Hall in June, and more recently promoting fund-raising activities that brought in a total of £10,000 for the children’s hospital and hospice during the month of Ramadan.

Ranger’s football star Majid Bulgerra was on hand to present the gifts to Yorkhill Hospital on the 18th of September 2009.

Naghat Basheer, our Account Director and charity trustee commented - "this is all about the children. It is such a simple yet effective idea - a win win situation. A number of interesting fund-raising events are in the planning stage for 2010".
